Action Room, defined
An Action Room is a shared space in Aksa where a group works on the same goal. Members see the same task list, submit their own proof, chat in the room, and follow the group's progress. A host runs the room.
What is inside a room
Each room has four tabs: Action, Resources, Progress and Setting.
Aksa also lists room chat, milestone task decks and resource guides as part of the room, and sends a push notification for room events.
- Action: the task checklist and milestone items
- Resources: guides, reference links and templates
- Progress: a member consistency heatmap and completion history
- Setting: room details, mode and member management
Host and member roles
The host owns the room. A host can edit the title, cover photo, tasks and resources, curate the action list, review member submissions and post announcements. Members can view the checklist and resources, submit daily proof, chat and react. They cannot edit room content.
A room can run in Private, Group or Host mode.
How people join
A host can invite connections or copy an invite link. Invitees join the host's shared room instead of creating a duplicate. Aksa's share links also let someone copy an action as their own solo goal without joining the room.
Why a room helps
A room puts the work in front of other people. When a member finishes an action, the other members can be notified and invited to cheer. The group heatmap shows who is showing up, which is more useful than a vague sense of how everyone is doing.
